Casa Magana in Santa Ana

This orphanage is for young girls that have been sexually abused by a member of their family. Currently there are 39 girls at the orphanage ranging in age from 9?17 years old. They live in the orphanage for protective custody and attend the all?girls school that is part of the same facility operated by the Catholic Church. The girls are from very poor families throughout the area and do not receive any support from their family. In 2001 the orphanage was damaged by an earthquake and repairs are still needed.
